The site uses current technology to achieve results that cannot be done better by any other medium.

National Science Week Quiz
This site was set up for National Science Week 1998. It involves a short quiz which tests your understanding of some science concepts.
 
Spider Silk Project
An experiment on measuring the strength of spider silk. Students do the experiment, enter their results and compare them with others.
 
Allele Project
A genetics survey looking at the occurrence of the gene responsible for middle digit hair.
 
 
Ray Day Project
An experiment with UV sensitive yeast to compare the amount of UV light at different locations.

Feral Bird Survey
A data collection of common feral (non native) birds linked to location and time of the year. This is an Investigation in the TAFENSW module
"Nature of Australia".
